Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Jameila Ingram, REALTOR® with Atlantic Sotheby's International Realty ("I," "me," "my"), collects, uses, and shares information through jameilaingram.com (the "Site"). If you use the Site, you accept this Policy.

1. Information I Collect

Information you give me. When you use the contact form, I collect:

  • Name, email address, and phone number (phone is optional)
  • What you are interested in (buying, selling, investing, a home valuation, or something else)
  • Your message and anything you choose to put in it
  • Whether you agreed to be contacted by call, email, and text

If you call or email me directly, I collect whatever you share in that conversation.

Information collected automatically. My hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) may process technical data like IP address, browser type, device information, pages you request, and timestamps, so it can deliver and protect the Site. If you agree to analytics (see Section 5), Google Analytics collects usage data like pages viewed, links clicked, form submission events, approximate location, and device or browser details.

The Site has no on-site property search. The "Home Search" link takes you to sothebysrealty.com, and that site's own privacy policy applies there.

2. How I Use Information

  • To answer your questions and provide real estate services
  • To contact you by phone, email, or text if you asked me to
  • To schedule showings, consultations, or valuations
  • To understand and improve the Site (only if you agree to analytics)
  • To keep the Site secure and prevent spam or abuse
  • To follow legal, regulatory, and brokerage recordkeeping rules

3. How Information Is Stored

Contact form messages are sent to me by email. The Site does not keep a copy in a database. Messages may be kept in my email account and brokerage systems for as long as I need them for the purposes above or as the law or brokerage policy requires. Delivery is handled by a third-party email delivery provider.

4. How Information Is Shared

I do not sell your personal information. I do not share it for targeted advertising. I may share information with:

  • My brokerage, Atlantic Sotheby's International Realty, as required for supervision and recordkeeping
  • Service providers that help run the Site or my business, such as Cloudflare (hosting/security), Google (email and, if enabled, analytics), and service providers I use to manage client relationships
  • Others involved in your transaction, with your direction or consent (for example lenders, title companies, inspectors, attorneys, or cooperating agents)
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect rights, property, or safety

5. Cookies and Analytics

The Site may use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode. Analytics storage turns on only if you agree. Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization are always set to "denied." Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (analytics-consent). To change it, clear your site data for this Site or use the consent controls. Analytics runs only if it is enabled on the Site and you have given consent. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies. You can also block cookies in your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

6. Text Messages and Phone Calls (SMS/TCPA Consent)

If you check the consent box, you agree that Jameila Ingram may contact you about real estate services at the number you give, by call, email, and text message. This may include automated means. Consent is not a condition of buying any property or service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. You can also opt out at any time by emailing jameilarealtor@gmail.com or calling (757) 419-7916. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

7. Your Virginia Privacy Rights

The Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) gives Virginia residents rights over their personal data, including the right to:

  • Confirm whether I process your personal data and access it
  • Correct inaccuracies
  • Delete personal data
  • Get a portable copy
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling with legal or similarly significant effects

The VCDPA applies only to businesses that meet certain size thresholds. Even so, I will honor reasonable requests from anyone. To make a request, email jameilarealtor@gmail.com. I may need to verify your identity. I will respond within 45 days. If I deny your request, you can appeal by replying with "Appeal" in the subject line, and I will respond within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you can contact the Virginia Attorney General at https://www.oag.state.va.us/. I do not process sensitive data without your consent. I will not discriminate against you for using your rights.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 18 for real estate services). I do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent me information, contact me and I will delete it.

9. Security

I use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS encryption and Cloudflare security, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank details, or other highly sensitive information through the contact form.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site links to other sites, such as sothebysrealty.com and atlanticsir.com. I am not responsible for their privacy practices.

11. Changes

I may update this Policy. The effective date above shows the latest version.
